Altun Ha, located in northern Belize

In northern Belize, found just about thirty miles or so, northern of Belize City, one will find The Altun Ha Mayan ruins, which are considered as certainly being worth a visit, if it is that one is thinking about staying at one of the Belize City hotels, nearby.

Compared to some of the other Belize Maya sites that can be found throughout the territory, the site of the ruins at Altun Ha is very small.

Still, the fact of the matter that it is so easy to get to from the City, is what truly makes it a very popular visit.
