Ancient Mayans Cities In Belize

As someone that spent a lot of time living in Mexico and traveling about, I am very fascinated by the major indian groups that inhabited the country of Mexico and the countries in Central America before the arrival of the Europeans, beginning with the Spanish. The two Indian races I am most interested in are the Aztecs and the Mayans, as they both were very powerful indian races with a rich history. This article covers a few of the pyramids the Mayans left behind in Central America, one of their best heritages.
