Crime and Violence in Belize

Carl Laws view violence and crime on Belize as a result of influences brought by big community of Belizeans coming from Los Angeles, California and New York.

The Economist Magazine has labed Belize as the murder capital of the world, based on number of murders relative to the country total population. Still Laws believes that most of these crimes account for gang to gang violence like the Bloods and the Crips, which is also a notorios gang in L.A.
