Hello,Belize internet provider BTL is blocking VoIP softwares such as Skype.
The only solution that works is the "personalVPN" from Witopia. It costs 39,99$ per year and is really simple to use.
Witopia personalVPN
The personalVPN encrypte your connection to a US IP address, with this method Belize Telecom can't detect that you're using Skype or another VoIP software!
In addition, it protects your computer against hackers!
It works on Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Macintosh OS X, and Linux.
I hope we'll see you back soon on Skype...
Copy and paste the following link in your browser to go to the Witopia official website :

Comment #2 The only solution that works is the "personalVPN" from Witopia.I think that is a very bad thing to say, especially when you are pushing an affiliate link for "personalVPN".
You would do a lot better to tell us about VPN's and why they would help with blocked VOIP services... and then offer your link.
Trying to tell us that the ONLY solution is with a service you are selling just ain't gonna cut it.
The service you are selling is NOT THE ONLY solution!
I might even suggest that if this is an important issue for you (and it should be) that you strike Belize from your list of places to live (or even visit) and support those countries that don't technologically hinder their populations.
