Why would you want to pay a fee and enjoy a resort community for only a limited time when you can afford to buy your own lot here?Yep, and if it's gonna be in beautiful Belize, then why not? Here's one resort for sale here in Escape Artist. What makes it different from most other resorts is its commitment to ecological sustainability. For instance, power will be supplied by the hydro-power facility, thanks to the nearby Macal River. See the property in Escape Artist's official website. Belize is a place where anyone would love to have a piece of land to call his/her own. Just read about this young friend who stayed in the place for a relatively short stint of one month but that was more than sufficient to make a decision about buying a property. Of course our young friend does have some confusion about regulations for buying of property in Belize by foreigners.Link: The Belize Forums: Moving to Belize Tags: moving to belize • forums • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

It is my guess that you will consider the economy and cost of living of a certain country before you proceed to living there. After all, I don't think anyone would like to live in a country with a 1000% inflation rate or with a cost of living ten times the cost of living in your original place! So, for your reference, here is an article giving you a brief overview of Belize's economic indicators and the cost of living there. Voice Over the Internet Protocol technology allows you to call other phones through the use of your Internet-connected phone. This is increasingly becoming the trend in the telecommunications industry. It won't be a wonder if on the near future, everybody will call everybody through VoIP phones. As of the moment, however, not all territories in the world are compatible with this technology, because of it's relative newness. Will it work in Belize? Link: The Belize Forums: Vonage VOIP - will it work? Tags: voip • vonage voip • skype • voip blocking • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

Imagine yourself in a capital city where everything is so near, where everywhere can be realistically reached by foot--and that includes hotel and government offices. Imagine yourself in a supposedly highly cosmopolitan city but is actually filled with greeneries. That is possible with Belmopan, capital of Belize and the smallest capital city in the world. Most of us in the western world spend their whole lives running around for bread and butter. So by the time we think of retirement we do not like the idea on living in the same rush and gush. Rather we prefer to find some distinct place where there is peace, natural beauty and lesser expenses. Belize is one such place and check why people end up settling here.Link: Retiremenet Plan Tags: retirement • retire in belize • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

Now that we have spoken enough about Belize in general, let us now go to its capital city, the city of Belmopan.Like any capital city, the seat of power in Belize is concentrated in this city. But Belmopan is not the original capital. It is actually the city of Hattie, but it was destroyed by a hurricane. Construction of Belmopan started in 1961 and was opened on 1971. Find out more about this city only here in Belize It. Link: You Better Belize It! - Belmopan! Tags: belmopan • capitol • 0 Comments. - Permalink |
