Mama Noots Backabush is truly an enchanting property. What inspired you to launch your own website?

Marketing

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

In 2000 and my url is http://www.mamanoots.com

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I named my resort after my great grandmother, a naturalist.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

I like to think I am a pioneer into this wilderness and have tried to impress that upon my website.

Sell it.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Okay.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would continue to develop the property in a self sustaining green environment.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Marketing

What has been your biggest challenge?

The forest continuosly wants to take over. I am located in one of the largest tract of untouched land left in Belize.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Word of mouth, website

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

I wish it could be in the top ten

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Eight years and my plans are to keep it going, always adding to it.
