Food security is indeed important, as food is one of any living organism's primal needs. However, over exhaustion of our environment might lead to the forever destruction of our sources.
Here at the Spanish Creek Rainforest, sustainable agriculture is practiced to help preserve and promote sustainability. In the rainforest, there are bamboo plantations from which the people there get their food and build their houses. It's all part of the reserve's culinary eco-tourism plan.
