wildlife sanctuary A Bird Sanctuary in Belize
Belize is home to around 370 species of migratory birds, including the Jabiru Stork, the largest flying bird in the whole North America.

To protect these migratory birds from industrial intrusion, the Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary was established. It is made up of inland lagoons, swamps, waterways that provide food sources and safe resting places for our feathery friends. It is also home to some species of monkeys, crocodiles, turtles, and iguanas.
